On behalf of the Nairobi City Campus community, I take this opportunity to extend my warmest congratulations to the graduands on the 34th graduation ceremony of Egerton University. We are particularly proud of the 200 graduands from the Commerce, Criminology and Security Studies, Gender and Development Studies, Education Arts, Economics and Statistics programmes from the campus who through sheer hard work and determination completed their studies and made this day a crowning moment of their lives. In the same vein I sincerely thank staff for their unwavering commitment to teaching and learning in the campus in spite of the rigorous trimester system that does afford them any break.

As you go out into the wider world practice these ideals that guide the human society.
